Miley Cyrus has recruited her celebrity pals for a star-studded online auction to benefit earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

"Ever since the earthquake, I've been trying to do my part to help the people of Haiti – and I wanted to do more," Cyrus tells PEOPLE.

Starting Feb. 8, fans can go to Ebay.com/Miley to bid on the Herve Leger dress the singer wore to the Jan. 31 Grammy Awards as well as two tickets to the Hollywood premiere of her upcoming film, The Last Song.

Cyrus recruited a bevy of famous friends to chip in too: Nicole Richie donated jewelry from her House of Harlow line and Britney Spears offered up the custom silver Versace minidress she wore to 2008's MTV Video Music Awards.

"Everyone has been so generous," says Cyrus, 17. "My mom and I started calling and texting all of our friends to see if they’d like to be a part of the auction. Demi [Lovato] was one of the first to respond. Hugh Jackman was also excited to donate something."

As for Richie's contribution, Cyrus says she relied on some technology to reach out to her. "I texted Nicole and right away she sent over some amazing jewelry and Joel [Madden] sent some of his clothes."

With all proceeds going to the American Red Cross to support emergency relief efforts in Haiti, "I want to get people involved and show that even the little things you can do can make a difference," Cyrus says.

Giving back has also become a family affair.

Miley’s big sister, Brandi, will perform with her band Frank & Derol at Harmonies for Haiti, a charity concert organized by Disney Channel star Chelsea Staub, on Feb. 11 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.

Miley Cyrus is to play her first concert in Spain at the Rock in Rio Madrid 2010 festival on June 6, an event which organizer Roberto Medina says will be dedicated to the family on that day.

Bon Jovi (June 4), Shakira and Rihanna (both June 5) were the first Rock in Rio Madrid artists confirmed a week ago. Cyrus was today (Feb. 5) added to the list, with the news that June 6 will be a family day, with tens of thousands of children expected.

Rock in Rio Madrid will be held over two weekends - June 4-6, and two unconfirmed days of the following weekend - at Rock City, a 200,000 square meters area in Arganda del Rel, 17km from Madrid.

As a condition for playing the festival, Cyrus will not perform any other concert in Spain this year. Although she has never performed in Spain, Cyrus has a huge youth following here, and Medina announced her performance at a Madrid college in front of cheering and screaming children and TV cameras.

Her latest film, "The Last Song", will be premiered in Spain in May.

Rock in Rio was born 25 years ago in Rio de Janeiro in January 1985, and subsequent events in Lisbon and Madrid have been arranged by Brazilian founder Medina. This will be the second Rock in Rio Madrid - the first in 2008 was attended by 290,000 fans.

Stars joke about what "could happen" if the two movies premiered on the same weekend.

Nicholas Sparks’ movies are all ones which revolve around love. But, according to US Magazine, if Miley Cyrus’ The Last Song were to be released this weekend alongside Amanda Seyfried’s Dear John, it would have been war between the actresses.

Seyfried and co-star Channing Tatum joked that Cyrus was lucky her movie is opening two months later.

Seyfried, 24, told MTV: “If The Last Song was coming out the same weekend as Dear John, we’d have to collaborate on some sort of sabotage mission.”

Tatum, 29, added: “I’d burn it. I’d sabotage it somehow.”

Tatum did also note however that it was all joking in good fun, saying that The Last Song is “not any more competition than all the rest” of Sparks’ movies, which, Tatum says, “are all very, very separate from each other,” with the overriding theme of Love.

Dear John is out today. The Last Song, also starring Cyrus’ new beau Liam Hemsworth, will premiere March 31.

Despite recent reports, the Hannah Montana star’s 9-year-old little sister, Noah, is not working with children’s clothing company Ooh! La, La! Couture to create a line of kid-friendly fashions. “Noah has worn their tutus in the past but she is not involved with that clothing line,” a rep for Cyrus tells PEOPLE. The real designer behind the new Oh! La, La! collection is actually Noah’s best friend, actress Emily Grace Reaves, who had a small role in Hannah Montana: The Movie. And no — it’s not a line of kids lingerie as some blogs have erroneously reported. The Emily Grace Collection will debut in stores this month and offer kids and teens “sweet, yet edgy” clothing, including a leopard-print dress, according to a company press release.

More sneak peeks at "The Last Song" have been shared through some new stills. Making its way out via Celebutopia, four of the pictures show Miley Cyrus' Ronnie alongside Liam Hemsworth's Will Blakelee, including when they are on a beach. The other images, meanwhile, feature Ronnie alongside her father, brother as well as new friend Blaze.

In another news, Walt Disney Pictures recently moved the release date for this drama film. After the original release date of January 8 was previously pushed back to April 2, "The Last Song" will now open wide in U.S. theaters two days sooner, on March 31.

Based on best-selling novel by Nicholas Sparks of the same title, "The Last Song" centers its story on rebellious teenager Veronica "Ronnie" Miller. Living separately from their father Steve Miller since their parents got divorced, Ronnie and her brother Jonah Miller are later sent by their mother to spend the summer with their father in Tybee Island, the small Georgia beach town.

There, she meets successful beach volleyball player Will Blakelee, with whom she falls in love. As she is getting closer to the handsome and popular guy, Ronnie manages to reconnect to her father through one thing they have in common, music.

Written by the book's author, Sparks, along with Jeff Van Wie, the forthcoming film is directed by Julie Anne Robinson. Joining Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth in the cast ensemble are Greg Kinnear, Kelly Preston, and Bobby Coleman who star as Ronnie's father, mother, and little brother respectively.

Little girls across the nation may soon be able to dress like their older sisters, thanks to a "trendy" and "edgy" new fashion line being launched by Miley Cyrus' kid sister, Noah, and her best friend, reports CocoPerez.com.

Emily Grace Reaves, the 9-year-old actress who played Cindy Lou in "Hannah Montana: The Movie," has teamed up with 10-year-old Noah Cyrus and Ooh! La, La! Couture designers to create "versatile styles that can be worn with sweet ballerina slippers, casual sneakers or paired with lace stockings and boots for more of a rock and roll look," according to the company's press release.

The collection, which will be introduced on Valentine's Day, is described in the release as mirroring Reaves' personality - "trendy, sweet, yet edgy."

A promotional video posted on CocoPerez.com shows Reaves dressed as every mother's worst nightmare. The pint-sized blond is seen showing off a revealing leopard-print mini-dress, lace stockings and fingerless black gloves ensemble to Miley Cyrus.

Reaves apparently has good intentions, however.

According to the press release, the collection - which also includes clothing for teens - was created to benefit the young actress' Lollipops and Rainbows charity.
